In these posts you can read about the stories behind some of the pictures I have taken over the years and some of my artwork. One of my favorite things about photography is the process of taking the pictures. Sometimes, the story is more interesting than the photo! These are my experiences behind the lens.

The Man with the Polar Bear Head

This photo always makes me smile. It was the first time I visited San Fransisco and I was very nervous driving through the city's narrow streets, which were full of cars parked along all the sidewalks. The car rental agency had given me a Ford Mustang; for a mini-van driving mother like me, driving a car with such a big hood wasn't easy! I was at a traffic light when this guy crossed in front of my car. It made me laugh out loud! I grabbed my phone and took the picture, to remember that time when "A man with a polar bear head crossed in front of my silver Mustang on the streets of San Fransisco." For sure, that is a sentence never written.
