In these posts you can read about the stories behind some of the pictures I have taken over the years and some of my artwork. One of my favorite things about photography is the process of taking the pictures. Sometimes, the story is more interesting than the photo! These are my experiences behind the lens.

Believing What You Don't See

Lately, I have been experimenting with acrylics and abstract art. I like incorporating things that I am living internally into my artistic expression. With this painting, I remind myself that first comes believing, then comes seeing. One of our main struggles as humans has always been believing God. It sounds like something so simple and logical, however, our doubts and fears often cloud our faith, just like it did the father of a boy with an impure spirit:

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe;

help my unbelief!” Mark 9:23-24 NKJV

faith. believing in what you don't see. seeing what you don't believe.
